Cooking & Nutrition Class for Nannies
Register your household staff for our 4 weeks class on Cooking & Nutrition. We cover all of the basics and equip your staff with knowledge and skills to make your little one(s) nutritional journey successful!
About the event
At Strong Start, we believe that one of the building blocks to learning is nutrition. When children have access to nutritious meals, it directly impacts their learning and development. Our Cooking & Nutrition training offers caregivers knowledge and skills in creating fun and nutritious meals at home. Students learn everything from hygiene in the kitchen to menu planning to creating meals that your child will love to eat (full schedule below)!
Class Schedule:
- Class 1: The Building Blocks of Nutrition | Recipes: Meatballs loaded with veggies, Homemade Tomato Dip, Bean quesadillas, Broccoli pasta pesto.
- Class 2: Nutrition Part 2 | Recipes: Fluffy Pink Beet Pancakes, Raspberry Smoothie, Cheesy Broccoli Sandwich, Veggie Loaded Breakfast egg
- Class 3: Toddler Meal Challenges in Nutrition & Solutions |Recipes: Apple pie Oatmeal cookies, Cheesy potato bites, Pasta stick pizza
- Class 4: Healthy Eating Habits for Life |Recipes: Chick pea Salad, Egg potato boats, Zucchini fritatta fingers
